A Vision Born from Passion

Miss Africa America was founded by Oumie Garba Fox with a powerful vision: to create a platform that celebrates African heritage while empowering women to become leaders in their communities. Miss Africa America is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

What started as a dream to unite African diaspora women across America has grown into a prestigious pageant that represents 54 nations and creates lasting impact through leadership, advocacy, and cultural celebration.

Today, Miss Africa America stands as a beacon of empowerment, giving voice to women who carry Africa's light across the globe.
